A modern snare for modern drummers, that's what this Yamaha Tour Custom 14 x 6.5-inch Chocolate Satin snare drum promises to be. Does it actually put its money where its mouth is? We believe it does, especially because it's made up of six plies of maple for a total thickness of 5.6 mm and finished with a 45-degree bearing edge, 2.3 mm Inverse Dyna Hoops, Absolute Cast Lugs and Remo Ambassador drum heads. All of this results in a varied sound with clear projection, masses of dynamics and a huge tuning range, making for a snare that can be used in virtually any style.

Yamaha realise that in terms of importance, looks are a close second behind sound and as such, blessed the Tour Custom Series snare with various delicious finishes.
